A downloadable project

Contains a total of 9,096 bright stars (brighter than magnitude 6.5). The data was extracted from the 1991 version of the Yale Bright Star Catalogue, version 5. Star positions are calculated based on galactic coordinates.

Version 1.0.2 added antialiased lines. Also quite a bit faster than the initial release.

Minimum system specs: 386, 4MB RAM, VGA
A 486 or faster is recommended for smoother experience.

Mouse controls:
Left button: Pan
Right button: Draw lines between stars

Keyboard controls:
Q / E: Roll WASD, Arrows: Turn
PgUp / PgDw, R / F, Plus / Minus: Zoom
Esc: Cancel line drawing
Backspace, Delete: Remove lines from a star

F1, H: Help
F2: Toggle VGA vertical sync
F3: Toggle FPS counter
F5: Toggle star lines visibility
F6: Toggle line antialiasing
ALT + X: Quit to DOS
